What is Reiki Healing?
Reiki is a form of energy healing discovered 1920 by Mikao Usui while living in Japan. The word Reiki translates to "Universal Life Force Energy"
In a session a client lays fully clothed, while the practitioner lightly places/hovers her hands on a series of places on the client's body, focusing on the chakras or energy centers. Reiki brings the client into balance on all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The energy works within you to heal you for your highest good
What Can I expect From a Reiki Healer?
I look to internalize and visualize parts of your body that need assistance and I open and balance chakras that may be out of balance or closed.
From there I release energy to help you with illnesses, depression, or peace of mind in your current surroundings
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki Promotes stress reduction, relaxation and healing
Low Energy causes us to be more susceptible to sickness and feeling stress.
High energy causes us to be more capable of being happy and healthy,
Reiki treats the whole person or animal which includes: Body, emotions, mind, and spirit.
Reiki creates many beneficial effects such as: Feelings of peace, security and wellbeing
and is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing that everyone/animal can benefit from
Reiki has been effective and beneficial in helping virtually every known illness and malady,
while working in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques
How does Distanced Reiki work differently from an in-person Reiki session?
With the help of Reiki symbols, I'm able to channel Reiki across time, space, and distance; to a person, place, or event; in the past, present or future. I perform a Distanced Reiki session as if we were together.
As the energy flows, energetic blocks or issues may make themselves known to me. if I do receive such impressions, I do my best to work with that information in a constructive way, and to give you tools you need to work beyond our session.
What do I need to do to prepare?
It's good to set an intention for your session to welcome Reiki energy and to be open to healing on all levels. It'd good to set an intention or goal for something specific as well, for instance, you may want to set an intention to heal a particular health issue, or perhaps you're seeking some peace of mind. You can also always ask to welcome in confidence, and joy.
Find a comfortable, quiet space where you can lay down, and cover yourself with a blanket. Take a few moments to take some deep cleansing breaths and to center yourself. Soft lighting, an eye pillow, quiet soothing music, and/or essential oils are great for setting the mood to relax and heal
